Berserk - The Golden Age - Screenplay Part 1

This is a rough draft of the screenplay adaptation I am writing for the Berserk Manga by Kentaro Miura. For those of you who read Berserk, you will notice I have carefully cut out certain elements from this Arc concerning the Count. Most notably is the complete removal of Puck since I plan to introduce him much much later, in what would essentially be the beginning of a 3rd screenplay. Even if it might not seem like it, I do have a detailed master outline for this first installment. I plan to begin with the fight with the Count and the subsequent meeting with the God Hand and then ultimately end with Zodd's warning to Guts about Griffith's impending betrayal. To do this it will require careful cherry picking of scenes and some alterations to some of them. My ultimate goal is to stay as true to the manga as possible, but given that I am writing a screenplay for a movie that will span around 3 hours at the most it's going to take some compromise. I hope to be getting some feedback from other fans of the series to help me stay as true as I can to the original. Anyhow this the first installment, it covers the battle with the Count and the meeting with the God Hand.
